About a month after both sides reached an agreement in principle, Dan Snyder has finalized a deal to sell the Washington Commanders to a group led by Josh Harris for a reported $6.05 billion, the highest price paid for a North American sports franchise in history. The deal includes FedEx Field and the Commanders practice facilities in Ashburn, VA. Snyder bought the Washington franchise in 1999 for $750 million. The deal still needs formal approval by league owners, which is expected to happen at a league meeting later this month.
