Maryland added thousands of more jobs for the month of November. U.S. Labor Department data shows Maryland's total jobs increased last month by 1,400. Leisure and hospitality saw the highest amount of growth, followed by the financial activities, mining and logging sectors, to name a few, with an increase of 2,200. Manufacturing, education and health services saw declines. The state's unemployment rate also fell two-tenths-of-one percent to 4.3% in November.
