Long time member of Local 307, United Electrical Workers, James "Snake" Robertson, passed away this past weekend. Robertson was involved with the Western Maryland Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for many years and had been an instructor and training director. Mr. Robertson served as the chairman of the Building Trades Foundation at the Center for Career and Technical Education, an executive member of the local advisory council, member of the Program Advisory Committee for the Electrical Program, and in various seats of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce as well as the Chamber's Education Committee for many years.
Arrangements are not finalized but WCBC will provide this information was soon as it's received.
