On Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at approximately 2:22 PM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department stopped a vehicle on E. Industrial Blvd.  The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Christopher Beeghly and Lauren Finan.  A Police K-9 was utilized which resulted in a positive alert for the odor of drugs in the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle was conducted.  Beeghly was found to be in possession of suspected Alprazolam.  Finan was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Beeghly and Finan were issued criminal citations and released pending trial.
