Maryland State Highway Administration will begin a pavement patching project on westbound I-68 between Beall Street and Vocke Road on Monday, July 8. The patching project should be complete by July 25, weather permitting. Crews will work nightly 8pm to 6am. Drivers can expect alternating lane closures on westbound I-68. The SHA’s contractor, Belt Paving of Cumberland, will use electronic message boards, detour signs, barrels, and cones to guide motorists safely through the work zone.
