First Peoples Community Federal Credit Union is happy to announce the merger with BEDCO Hospital Federal Credit Union, effective January 1, 2025.

BEDCO Hospital Federal Credit Union was chartered to serve the employees of the Bedford hospital in 1961.  The field of membership has since expanded to serve the entire community.  The credit union has over 500 members, $1.8 million in assets, and one branch located within UPMC Bedford.

Merging with First Peoples Community Federal Credit Union provides BEDCO’s current membership access to a robust offering of products and services. First Peoples offers valuable financial services, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, business banking and investment services. It offers the availability to conduct business at 19 branches, 28 ITMs (Interactive Teller Machines) and 20 ATM’s  (14 available off site) in its service area, plus an all new digital platform experience.
