In late January, in a forceful push to get Maryland’s public schools reopened, Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent Karen Salmon called for immediate efforts to return students to classrooms, at least part time, no later than March 1. With that deadline fast approaching, Governor Hogan says he is satisfied that most school systems have begun the process.
