Hogan Needs Boost from Democratic Voters

Larry Hogan became the first Republican governor to win two terms in Maryland since the 1950s and now he’s trying to become the state’s first Republican senator since the 1980s.  However, Maryland is a heavily Democratic state and Hogan told WCBC News in an exclusive interview that Independent voters carry great strength in Maryland and across the country.  Hogan said he’s doing well in polling with Republicans and Independents but needs more Democratic voter support.
