Maryland Governor Larry Hogan held a press conference Monday afternoon, telling reporters he would be pushing a major effect to get more funding to state police agencies during the 2022 session of the General Assembly. Although murders in Baltimore have increased the past two years, and there have been calls for the state to help the city, it remains to be seen if the Democrat controlled legislature will give Hogan, a Republican, any support in his call for more police funding.
