Governor Larry Hogan, at a Tuesday press conference, addressed the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in Maryland, announcing that the state is working to open mass vaccination sites- including one in Western Maryland. Hogan said while the state is gearing up for mass distribution- supply from the federal government remains extremely limited. Overall, Maryland will require 12 million vaccines to reach two doses for all Marylanders, and to date, Maryland has only been allotted 5.8% of that amount. Hogan said 95% of all the doses the state has been allocated so far have already been deployed.
