On Friday, May 10, 2024 at approximately 8:35 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Ascension Street for the report of a hit & run. Officers learned that the victim was riding a bicycle in the area of Spring Street and Maryland Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle. The vehicle then left the area. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
