The annual Heritage Days Festival this weekend on Cumberland’s Historic Washington Street promises something for history buffs, craft lovers, trivia experts and foodies. The return of festival favorite Cumberland Jeopardy will be back for both Saturday and Sunday according to organizer Dave Williams…
“Saturday, right after the troop review, we’re going to do Celebrity Jeopardy. Then on Sunday, we’re going to do Expert Jeopardy where we’re trying to find some of these serious historians who work with us on our Facebook page at Western Maryland History and that set of questions are going to be harder than the Saturday questions.”
This year, organizers were surprised by the number of vendors for the festival – over 100 craft, retail, and non-profits and 19 food vendors, some with food trucks, will be onsite…
“The combination this year of the craft vendors and the food vendors – we ended up with a problem earlier in the week that we had no idea we would face in our lifetime at Heritage Days. The vendor space is totally sold out.”
