The 55th Annual Heritage Days Festival proved to be very successful this past weekend. Perfect weather on Saturday and Sunday saw increased crowds for the festival along Historic Washington Street. Ed Mullaney of Let’s Beautify Cumberland and the celebrity champion of Cumberland Jeopardy this year, said the festival shows off the history and culture of the city…
“It lights some fires. It builds pride in the local community and it shows the outside community what we’re all about – history – but we’re having fun and looking forward to the future.”
