AAA is reminding motorists that high temperatures can take their toll on not only people and animals, but vehicles too. Last summer in Maryland alone, AAA emergency roadside service crews resoinded to nearly 164,000 calls. An analysis of AAA roadside data shows that vehicles 10 years and older are twice as likely to end up stranded compared to newer vehicles. AAA suggests frequently checking car batteries, coolant, tires, fluids, and air conditioning to stay safe on summer trips.
