The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold public comment hearings on the rate increase request filed in March by Maryland Water Service, Inc.
The company proposes a rate increase of nearly $1.6 million across its five systems, including the Pinto Water System and the Highland Estates Water System in Allegany County. A hearing on the proposed rate increase will be held at Holiday Inn Express & Suites LaVale on July 25 at 6:30 pm with Chief Public Utility Law Judge Chuck Mclean.
