Yet another candidate has entered the race for the seat being vacated by Congressman David Trone. Now, the brand new Mayor of Hagerstown has tossed her hat into the ring.  Mayor Tekesah Martinez was appointed by the Hagerstown City Council to the office to replace Emily Keller who left to work in Governor Moore’s administration. The filing deadline for candidates is in February of 2024 and the Primary is in May.
