On May 7th, 2024 at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the 200 block of Greene Street for an intoxicated subject that had been ordered to leave the premises, by officers, and had since returned. The officers contacted the individual and identified him as Christopher Michael Freeman Sr. Freeman had been ordered to leave the business at 8:55 p.m. as well as 9:49 p.m. Freeman was subsequently placed under arrest for failing to remain off of the property and intoxicated public disturbance.

On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to a business in the 200 block of Greene St for the report of a disturbance. Once on scene, officers contacted employees who advised that a male subject was in the store creating a disturbance. It was also learned that officers with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office had been there earlier in the day for similar incident involving the same male subject. At that time, the subject was advised not to return to the store on this date and create another disturbance of they would be arrested. As a result, Drezdin Jose Delgado, 21, was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters. He was issued a criminal citation and released, pending trial in District Court.
