The 42nd annual Great Allegany Run will be held on Saturday, October 5th, beginning at 8am in Mount Savage and ending on Centre Street in Downtown Cumberland. The 5k race will start at 8 am in front of Queen City Cravings on Harrison Street. Registration is open at WheelzUp Adventures from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, and Saturday from 6 to 7am. Route 40 will be closed to traffic leaving the city from 8 am to 11 am. Proceeds benefit Allegany County Habitat for Humanity.
