Governor Wes Moore signed a memorandum of understanding Friday with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to advance Maryland’s offshore wind development. The agreement will help make Maryland more competitive by building a more robust supply chain and creating more jobs for Marylanders. The governor was joined at the State House for the signing by U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, and Congressman John Sarbanes.
