Gov. Patrick Morrisey took another step for the “Mountaineer Mile,” the fitness program that he has been promoting.  While making an appearance Wednesday at Little Beaver State Park in Raleigh County, the governor announced the designation of “Mountaineer Mile Trails” in state parks across West Virginia.  West Virginia ranks near the highest percentage of adults in terms of obesity and diagnosed cases of diabetes.  To encourage people to get more active, the governor said his administration would designate a Mountaineer Mile trail in each of West Virginia’s state parks, 32 in all.
