Governor Has Work Cut Out Over Blueprint “Pause”

January 7th, 2025 by WCBC Radio

Maryland’s legislature convenes on Wednesday with over 500 bills already prefiled. Governor Wes Moore also has bills he wants to submit, including changing up some of the timelines in the state’s Blueprint for Education plan. “Will he have house leadership and senate leadership in agreement to trim the Blueprint down? He will definitely get pushback in the House. There are a lot of delegates who covet the teachers’ endorsements and I’m sure that the union is going to push back.”
