On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at approximately 1:24 am the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the 100 Block of Geroge Street for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, Officers learned that a female had entered a closed area restricted from public use after being advised by the business employee not to. Officers located Starasia Leslie Smith at the rear of the business. Smith refused to identify herself and tried to leave the scene. Smith was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner where she is currently awaiting her initial appearance.
Arrest: Starasia Leslie Smith, age 21, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges: Trespassing, Obstructing and Hindering
