Gas prices in the region are inching up again with Maryland drivers seeing an average of $3.40 per gallon and DC drivers paying $3.53 per gallon.  The reason behind the rise is OPEC’s decision to extend cuts on crude oil production. Russia is among the countries cutting production – some say as a way to increase inflation in the United States.
