On July 30th, 2023 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 500 block of Furnace Street for a reported disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival they were directed to the residence by bystanders in the area who could hear the disturbance. Officers were able to hear the disturbance from outside the residence and contacted Casey Stokes, who officers had contacted several times throughout the day in regards to disturbances. Officers conducted their investigation and learned that Casey had again created a disturbance, after being ordered to refrain from causing further disturbances. Casey was placed under arrest and was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center where he was released on an unsecured personal bond of $1,000.

Arrest: Casey Abraham Stokes, age 37, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Failure to Obey, Disorderly Conduct.
