A furnace malfunction is being blamed for a house fire on Carlos Road in Frostburg.  Forty firefighters responded to the residence at 1:45pm after it was discovered by a passerby.  Loss to the structure was determined to be $30,000. Two dogs perished in the fire. The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
