Funding from National Drug Control Announced

U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen along with other Maryland Delegation members have announced funding from the White House Office Of National Drug Control Policy to bolster addiction treatment resources and support law enforcement efforts to tackle illicit drugs in Maryland communities.

Over $16 million will be spent to support law enforcement and community based solutions.  Garrett County’s Health Department will receive $50,000 to address illicit drugs in their community.
