On Monday, December 23rd, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Terry Williams Adkins, 32, of Orange Co. FL. Adkins was arrested on an active Fugitive Warrant when it was discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest in Orange County, FL. The original warrant alleges Adkins failed to register as a sex offender in that jurisdiction. At this time, Adkins has been remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is being held without bond. He is currently awaiting extradition to Florida.

On Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Steven Michael Hall, 34, of Fort Ashby WV. Hall was arrested on an active Fugitive Warrant when it was discovered he had an active warrant for his arrest in Mineral County WV. The WV warrant was issued for charges of DUI while driving suspended/revoked. Hall was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond, and is awaiting extradition to WV.
