The Help Americans Vote College Program has awarded Frostburg State University a grant to encourage college students to serve as nonpartisan poll workers in the 2024 election. The university’s Office of Civic Engagement will use the $2,000 grant for a print marketing campaign and information sessions to recruit poll workers and provide access to necessary training. The college hopes to engage 15 students to become poll workers for the November election.
