The District 6 Congressional seat is one of the most hotly contested in Maryland this election cycle. Democrat April McClain Delaney and Republican Neil Parrott have been hustling to get votes to take the seat being vacated by David Trone. Hood College hosted a candidate forum on Sunday that saw both candidates angry and becoming almost physical at the end of the evening when Delaney interrupted Parrott’s closing remarks and then the two were seen in each other’s faces and pointing fingers once the forum ended…
“Parrott- What about the lies that you put out at me on your mailers? Unbelievable and disgusting. Delaney- Not lies, not lies, they’re not lies. Parrott – They’re complete lies and you know it. Delaney- Oh, I have them every single {unintelligible} Parrott- This is my turn, this is my turn. You need to be quiet, I have two minutes.”
