FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM EDT THIS MORNING…..REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING…
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected in portions of western Maryland, including the following county, Allegany, northwest Virginia, including the following county, Frederick, and West Virginia, including the following counties, Berkeley, Hampshire, Hardy and Morgan until 1045 AM
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
At 746 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
