FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT

FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING…REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING…

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected for portions of Maryland, including the following counties, Allegany and Washington, northwest Virginia, including the following county, Frederick, and panhandle West Virginia, including the following counties, Berkeley and Morgan until 5AM. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 245 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
