The Cumberland Fire Department urges residents to refrain from purchasing, transporting, and using illegal or contraband fireworks this Fourth of July. Chief Adams urges residents to attend one of the many licensed public fireworks displays that are held throughout Maryland during the Fourth of July holiday period. The City of Cumberland will provide a public display at Constitution Park on the Fourth of July at approximately 9:15 PM.
