In her latest Comptroller Connection newsletter, Maryland State Comptroller Brook Lierman is showing that since income tax season began in January, more than $2.23 billion in refunds have been issued to 1.8 million personal income tax filers.
For those making tax payment for business, the filing date for business taxes has been extended to May 31. Business filers are encouraged to use the business tax portal, Maryland Tax Connect.
