Maryland State Police report a fatal crash on Interstate 70 in Washington County Saturday afternoon.   A Honda CRV was the only vehicle involved in the collision.  EMS personnel were on scene and treating two patients from the collision.  The driver, Erick Pierce was transported by ground ambulance to Meritus Medical Center.   The passenger, Todd Keefauver was pronounced deceased at the scene.  TFC Nolf responded to the scene to conduct the reconstruction investigation.  Investigation revealed the Honda CRV was traveling E/B on I-70 in the area of the 21-mile marker when it left the roadway for an unknown reason traveling off the right shoulder and overturning.
