 The Hagerstown Regional Airport will be getting some much needed improvements, thanks to $6.5 million in funding through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program.  The funding was announced by Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin along with Congressman David Trone.  The money will be used to reconstruct the airport’s taxiway and taxiway lighting.  AIP funding supports airport infrastructure projects across the country including runways, lighting, and signage.
