Governor Wes Moore has announced that the ENOUGH Initiative – a community based strategy to address child poverty in Maryland is open for competitive funding opportunities.
The ENOUGH Initiative was authorized through landmark legislation to tackle the root cause of poverty. The Governor’s Office For Children indicates that two census tracts in Cumberland are eligible for ENOUGH funding – both being in South Cumberland. The program will address education, health, economic development and community safety.
