National Voter Registration Day was recognized this week encouraging voters to make sure they’re ready to vote in advance of next year’s presidential primaries. Locally, the Allegany County Board of Elections held a drive at Frostburg State University to register voters. One of the main resources needed each election is election poll workers. Election judges work at each polling site to check in voters, answer questions and monitor activities.
