On Friday July 12th, 2024 at approximately 11:08 am, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 300 block of South Centre Street for a reported individual slumped over the wheel. Upon officer’s arrival they located Madison Zeman to be slumped over the wheel, with the vehicle still in drive. Officers observed evidence of impairment and after the performance of standardized field sobriety tests, officers observed further evidence of impairment. Zeman was placed under arrest and later released on driving under the influence related citations pending her trial at District Court.

Arrest: Madison Brooke Zeman, age 34, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Driving Under the Influence Related Citations.

On Thursday May 9th, 2024 at approximately 11:55 pm an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had traveled the wrong way on Centre Street, which is a one-way street. The officer contacted the operator, Lori Zehfuss, and observed evidence of impairment. After the performance of Standardized Field Sobriety further evidence of impairment was observed. Zehfuss was subsequently placed under arrest and later released on driving under the influence related citations.
