A Pennsylvania group is voicing concerns that an executive order signed by President Trump that targets diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives may negatively affect the disabled. Mallory Hudson with Keystone Progress Education Fund says a memo ordered the state Civil Rights Division to stop filing new complaints, motions or remands. “That means that the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division has been instructed not to file any new civil rights cases, right? And that includes ADA complaints. So, those are – that is one of the few ways that disabled people can even protect their civil rights.”
