West Virginia State Delegate Gary Howell provided WCBC with an update on the special legislative session called by Governor Jim Justice. The session started on September 30 but has now been adjourned until October 6 to save taxpayer money and line up with other scheduled interim meetings in Charleston. Among items to be decided are raises for staff at the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, monies for road maintenance and updates to Veterans facilities, and project funding for the West Virginia State Police and National Guard.
