Delegate Jason Buckel tells WCBC News that a bill he introduced that will amend the Senator George C. Edwards Fund program- was not done to give him more influence- but rather to create a more stable organizational structure. The Edwards fund was established by the Maryland General Assembly in 2022 and is allocating $50 million for economic development in Allegany, Garrett and Washington counties.
