Maryland deer hunters harvested 84,201 deer during the archery, firearms, and muzzleloader seasons, from September through February 4th. The statewide harvest reported to the Maryland DNR included over 32,000 antlered and 47,000 antlerless deer, an increase of 15.9% over last year. The Western Maryland region saw an increased harvest of 12% over last year. Maryland is home to over 250,000 deer.
