Republican Officials are pushing the No Propaganda Act, which would cut federal funding for public media outlets including National Public Radio and PBS. Cuts would start with the $500 million Congress has already approved for this year. A Pew Research poll finds 43% of Americans think funding should continue while 24% say it’s time to end funding. US Senator John Kennedy says the cuts are because of bias in the public media…

   

“At a minimum we are going to eliminate their funding, and hopefully we can eliminate the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and PBS and NPR – they are reporting as well – and see that it is very biased.
