Cumberland City streets are undergoing different projects, making getting around town difficult. For Mapleside residents, work on Louisiana Avenue between Hilltop Drive and Williams Street will have that street closed daily from 8am to 3pm, but open on weekends until November 7th. The closure is for ongoing work Columbia Gas is doing in the area. On the west side of town, inspectors from AB Consultants, Prime AE, and Mercado will be doing investigative work on the Fayette Street Bridge through mid-December for surveys, utility marking, and traffic counts.
