On November 24th, 2022 at 12:00 am officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Williams Street for a report of a female slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. Upon officer’s arrival they located the vehicle and made contact with the operator of the vehicle, Harley Coffey. Officers observed evidence of impairment and after performance of standardized field the officer observed further evidence of impairment. Coffey was placed under arrest and later released awaiting her trial at District Court.
Arrest: Harley Marie Coffey, age 28, Bedford Pennsylvania.
Charges: Driving Under the Influence Related Citations.
On November 24th, 2022 at 1:00 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on South Mechanic Street. Upon contacting the operator, Christopher Hochard, the officer observed evidence of impairment. After performance of standardized field sobriety tests the officer observed further evidence of impairment. Hochard was placed under arrest and later released awaiting his trial at District Court.
Arrest: Christopher Alan Hochard, age 53, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Driving Under the Influence Related Citations.

On August 28th, 2022 at approximately 12:45 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Greene Street and Bridge Street. The officer contacted the operator, Chad McMillan, and observed evidence of impairment. McMillan was requested to perform standardized field sobriety tests, and completed them unsatisfactorily. McMillan was placed under arrest and was later released on driving under the influence citations.
Arrest: Chad Michael McMillan, age 26, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Driving Under the Influence related citations.
On August 28th, 2022 at approximately 2:00 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Liberty Street. The officer contacted the operator, Donald Long, and observed evidence of impairment. Long was requested to perform standardized field sobriety tests, and completed them unsatisfactorily. Long was placed under arrest and was later released on driving under the influence citations.
Arrest: Donald Eugene Long, age 58, Ridgley West Virginia.
Charges: Driving Under the Influence related citations.
