On Friday the Cumberland City Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Randy Alexander Serafin. Mr. Serafin was wanted for failing to appear in District Court from a previous assault charge. Mr. Serafin was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance

On 4/13/2019 at approximately 10:45 PM the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 block of Park Street for an assault complaint. Officers spoke to the victim and observed visible injuries. As a result of the investigation Eric Wayne Whetstone was placed under arrest. Mr. Whetstone was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released pending trial.
