On February 7th, 2023 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business on Queen City Drive for a reported shop lifting. Upon officer’s arrival they spoke with employees who advised Amanda Staples had taken items from the business without paying for them. Staples was issued a Criminal Citation and released pending her trial at District Court.

Arrest: Amanda Elizabeth Staple, age 41, Cumberland Maryland.
Charge: Theft Less Than $100.
