City Hall will be closed to the public beginning Thursday, June 20 and plans to reopen to the public on Monday, July 8 due to construction in the building. Staff will be relocated to continue serving our residents, with Tax and Utility and Parking being moved to the Willetts Building at 446 N. Mechanic Street. Human Resources has relocated to the third floor of the Public Safety Building. Other staff members may be reached through email or their direct phone lines. Citizens who require in person assistance with their payment may visit the Tax and Utility Department, inside the Willetts Building (446 N. Mechanic Street). Public meetings of the Mayor and City Council will continue to be held at the Allegany Museum (3 Pershing Street). Tax and Utility customers are encouraged to make payments in the following ways:
• Online at www.cumberlandmd.gov
• Drop box outside City Hall
• Drive-by box at the Chamber of Commerce
• Pay with a credit card by phone at 844-984-0459
