On Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Mariah Star Howell, 19, of Cumberland MD. The summons was issued in reference to an incident that occurred on September 5th, 2025, at a Queen City Drive business. During that incident, it is alleged Howell assaulted a subject outside the business. On this date, Howell was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.

On Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Alex Brady Unger, 19, of Cumberland MD. The summons was issued in reference to an incident that occurred on September 6th, 2025, at a residence in the 1000 block of Braddock Rd. During that incident, it is alleged Unger assaulted a juvenile subject and broke a phone inside the home after a verbal altercation had taken place. On this date, Unger was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.

On August 5th, 2025 the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Nancy Louise Frazier. The summons was issued after a Cumberland Police officer completed an investigation of a theft that occurred on July 17th, 2025. The officer responded to a business on Park Street and made contact with an employee working loss prevention for the store. The employee advised that Frazier had taken merchandise from the store without paying. The employee also advised that other thefts were made by Frazier and had been cataloged over a period of time. Video evidence was presented to the officer and an application of charges was filed at District Court. Frazier signed for her copy of summons and was released pending trial at District Court.
