Criminal Summons Failure to stop after unattended vehicle damage

On 08/01/2023 at approximately 12:30 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Beall Street for a hit and run investigation. Officers learned a vehicle had hit a parked vehicle and left the scene of the accident. The Officer was able to locate surveillance video from a nearby business and identify a suspect. The Officer located the suspect vehicle and was able to identify damage consistent with the video surveillance. The officer contacted the suspect Brandon McRobie and learned he was involved in the accident. The officer submitted charges through the District Court Commissioner and a criminal summons was issued. On 08/06/2023 the criminal summons was served on Brandon McRobie. McRobie is free pending trial in District Court.
